Back To School

Our kids are back to school!  It's been such a hot summer that I'm ready for those cool temperatures, how about you?  I'm a retired K-1 teacher and this time of year has always been fun for me.  School supplies, classrooms, new school clothes - I still have to shop the school aisles even though I am not buying for my classroom anymore.  I think working on this kit was just what I needed!

Over In The Meadow

How is your summer?  Our gardens are still growing because of the watering my husband does every day.  The heat causes everything to have a "washed out" color, not like the bright colors of spring.  These are the colors that we have in Kansas right now but I still enjoy looking out over the fields, trees and rivers.  Peaceful and laid-back, too hot to move very fast.  I have introduced Over In The Meadow this week - it reminds me of what life looks like right now.
